…… We Will Remember Them
To commemorate one hundred years since the start of the Great War, we have set ourselves the goal of finding out as much as we can about the men who are honoured on the Memorial Plaque in Holy Cross Church, Chiseldon.

Some of them are hard to find on census returns, and one - Sydney Noble - is not listed by the Commonwealth War Graves Commission.  We have very few photographs so far.

We would love to hear from anyone who has any information, or who is related to these young men who made the ultimate sacrifice.

We are also updating our display about Chiseldon Camp
in WW1 and would welcome any information you may have about people who were stationed there or memories from Chiseldon during the Great War.

We plan to display the information we have discovered in Chiseldon Museum over the next five years.
